Health Resources and Services Administration Grant Awards Schedule

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has presented in the FEDERAL REGISTER a full manifest of its competitive and other grant programs currently scheduled for awards in Fiscal Year 2004.

HRSA’s nursing diversity grants and health career opportunities program, in particular, may offer some linkage opportunities with ETA grant-making and our various BRG initiatives. Local Boards and One-Stops, for example, might assist HRSA in achieving the goal of the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP). ODEP Proposes National Survey of Sub-minimum Wage (14 c) Certificate Recipients

The Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) is soliciting comments concerning the proposed collection of needs assessment data through the National Survey of Sub-minimum Wage (14 c) Certificate Recipients.

The survey will look at perceived organizational barriers to achieving competitive employment outcomes for individuals with significant disabilities. This will include organizations` perceived training and resource needs related to moving their programs from 14 (c) to integrated employment outcomes. The information generated by the survey will be used by ODEP for policy analysis and subsequent policy development and recommendations. In addition, ODEP`s Training and Technical Assistance for Providers (T-TAP) project will use the information to design and disseminate resources and training materials as well as provide technical assistance to Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRP).
