Directory of Individuals to Contact Regarding State Unemployment Insurance (UI) Tax and Tax Performance System (TPS) Matters

  1. Purpose. To transmit to state workforce agencies (SWAs) a revised directory of state and Department of Labor (DOL) staff involved with UI tax and/or TPS matters.This directory is intended for internal use only.

  2. Background. Due to routine changes in personnel and facilities, a periodic update to the directory of state and DOL staff is necessary. Updated information primarily comes from SWAs, through their Regional Offices (ROs), and includes names, titles, telephone and fax numbers, mail and e-mail addresses of state staff designated to respond to inquiries regarding UI tax and TPS matters. Also included is updated information on RO staff and National Office (NO) staff as determined by the DOL.

  3. Changes. This revised directory is current as of April 30, 2003 and replaces Unemployment Insurance Program Letter (UIPL) No. 23-02. SWAs should notify their RO of any changes relevant to this directory. ROs will forward the information to the NO, Division of Unemployment Insurance Operations (DUIO) for inclusion in the next update of the directory.

  4. Action Required. SWAs are requested to provide a copy of the attached directory to appropriate staff.
