Workforce Innovations 2003 Conference

  1. Purpose. To announce the Workforce Innovations 2003: Fueling America’s Economic Engine conference to be held in Washington, D.C., from July 8 – 10, at the Marriott Wardman-Park Hotel.

  2. Background. Workforce Innovations 2003 is the nation’s premier conference for the workforce investment system. The conference is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration and the National Association of Workforce Boards. It is designed to offer all public and private workforce professionals information on the most recent reauthorization developments, best practices, key industry clusters, and systems and solutions necessary to provide quality services to their customers.

    This unique conference will feature dynamic and provocative speakers addressing the critical themes of:

    A comprehensive exhibit hall with over 100 exhibitors presenting the latest technologies, tools and systems for launching and enhancing workforce programs will be a conference highlight.

  3. Registration. On-line registration is available on the conference Web site ( www.workforceinnovations.org). An early-bird discounted registration fee is available for all who register before May 30. A one-day only registration option is available for either July 8 or July 9.

  4. Getting the Word Out. Following are some suggestions for helping us publicize the conference and for participating in the conference.
