Department of Labor (DOL) Report, Reemployment Services: A Review of Their Effectiveness

 

The above cited report summarized the major findings about the effectiveness of employment and training programs for dislocated workers. A key section of the report reviews the findings of relevant studies and demonstrations projects which dealt with profiling of unemployment insurane (UI) claimants and the provision of job search assistance to these claimants. The authors of this report conclude that the finds from all of the demonstration projects are positive and consistent.
